Forbes The World’s Biggest Companies

 

Forbes had announced the global 2000 biggest companies, Forbes’ ranking of the world’s biggest companies use an equal weighting of sales, profits, assets and market value to rank companies according to size.Malaysia has 19 companies in the list and the companies ranking is as below,

Forbes ranking is not merely based on the market capitalization and hence the ranking is different from the Bursa Malaysia top 10 largest market capitalization. However overall the companies are still the same blue chips stocks, the different is only the ranking. One of the rule of thumbs for stock selection is to go for the stocks that are fundamental strong.

Public bank is still the biggest bank in term of market capitalization at this time even tough Maybank has increased the total number of share.
